Youth Gathering!
It
is time for another ELCA National Youth Gathering!
The Youth Gathering, which occurs once every three
years, will be held July 18-22 (2012)
in New Orleans. The theme for this year’s
Gathering is “Citizens with the Saints.”
If you are a youth
who is eligible to attend the Gathering …
you don’t want to miss it! Our youth group
will be attending this awesome event in order
to grow in our faith and be the “hands of
God” in New Orleans. More information and
registration information was mailed to all eligible
youth at the beginning of September.
If you plan to attend
this event, your registration form and a check
for $150 (to cover the deposit) must be turned
in to the church office by Sunday, October 2.
There will be a manila envelope on the church
secretary’s desk, labeled “GATHERING
REGISTRATIONS.” Please put your registration
form and check in the envelope. There will also
be a meeting on Sunday, October 2 at 7 PM in the
Fellowship Hall for all youth who plan to attend
and their parents.
